Meet Debbie

Growing up we weren't poor, but we certainly weren't rich either. I had two parents that loved me, and no one ever told me that I wouldn't amount to anything. So I don't have that story.

But the story I do have is that of a rebellious teenager, who wanted to be 10 years older than I was. I dropped out of school after the 8th grade, not because I couldn't do the work but out of sheer rebellion. Many times I missed class and I think they passed me just to not have me back again.
Growing up in a Christian home, it wasn't later until I learned what I had really formed in me was legalism, I knew nothing about the power of God and didn't understand the term born again. I thought that I somehow needed to be good. I had tremendous amount pride and a superior, self-righteous attitude to go with it. I was pretty sure that I was good and that it was the other people who needed the most help. When the Bible says that pride comes before the fall, boy was that true for me.

At 16 I gave my heart to the Lord when I met my husband-to-be, but my soul was still messed up. I had a lot to learn and so much surrendering left to do (that never stops by the way!). But also at 16 I learned the principles of the tithe and offering, and I knew that I knew that God was my source. If there was one thing that God instilled in me, it was that He was my source and He would open doors and protect me if we were in covenant. Many other things I messed up, but that was the one He wanted to use in my life. When I was a youth, I would always love to bless people, but with the wrong motives.

Being approved by people was always way too important to me. That began to change as the Lord dealt with my heart, and instead of “earning my way” God changed my heart to“blessed to be a blessing”. This didn’t come overnight, but slowly and steadily he was working out some wrong motives while still teaching me the principles of giving. Fast forward throughout years of trials and pruning, God began to reveal my passion in regards to financial freedom, being debt-free and obtaining wealth His way, wealth without sorrow. I’ve had both, and wealth without sorrow is much better!

After 30 years of working for the same corporation, starting out in the restaurant business and eventually going into the travel business, I sold our company and retired October 31st, 2019 better known today as “right before Covid”. Selling a Travel Agency right before Covid, tell me our God doesn’t provide! And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.

Today, I can truly say that I came from nothing. No degrees, no wealthy heritage, no training by man. It’s been strictly by obeying the principles in the Word of God that has brought my husband and I out of debt and into the blessing. My desire is to help those who are sick and tired of being stuck learn these same principles and begin to break free and live in God’s Kingdom system of wealth and abundance.

“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22

Have you made Jesus the Lord of your life?
Make that decision today and He will change your life forever!
Has anyone ever told you that God loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life? I have a real quick, but important question to ask you. If you were to die this very second, do you know for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you would go to Heaven? If “Yes”—Great, why would you say “Yes”? Let me quickly share with you what the Holy Bible reads. It reads “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” and “for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. The Bible also reads, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”. And you’re a “whosoever” right? Of course you are; all of us are.

I’m going to say a quick prayer for you. Lord, bless everyone who reads this and their family with long and healthy lives. Jesus, make Yourself real to him/her and do a quick work in his/her heart. If you have not received Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Savior, I pray he/she will do so now. If you would like to receive the gift that God has for you today, say this after me with your heart and lips out loud. Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Wash me and cleanse me. Set me free. Jesus, thank You that You died for me. I believe that You are risen from the dead and that You’re coming back again for me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me a passion for the lost, a hunger for the things of God and a holy boldness to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m saved; I’m born again, I’m forgiven and I’m on my way to Heaven because I have Jesus in my heart.

As a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I tell you today that all of your sins are forgiven. Always remember to run to God and not from God because He loves you and has a great plan for your life.
